Too bulky, too noisy
If you are looking at this vest for hunting, you are probably considering it for stalking or still hunting game at relatively close range where something to break up your outline might help gain an edge. Unfortunately, in those situations, you also need to be quiet, which is where this vest falls down. The fabric is cheap-feeling stiff polyester twill that is not brushed and makes audible rustling sounds whenever it moves, and the cut is much too bulky, even in a size Small, to move quietly through brush. I do not recommend this as a close range (<200 yards) hunting vest. Bean needs to make something with a similar pattern but in a soft touch, QUIET, brushed fleece, with options for a slim or full cut to maintain a trim fit over outerwear for people of different body weights.

Not so fast…
Returned. Description says legal in most states, it’s not. The vast majority of states explicitly band the use of camo blaze orange. If you want one for fashion, I’m sure it’ll be fine… but for hunting, you better double and triple check your regs.

Now You See Me
I've never hunted in my life, not will I ever. I wore this while shooting photographs in a snowy downtown today and everyone saw me. I never once worried about getting hit by a bus. One guy tried to turn right before he looked, but when he glanced over my orange popped him in his pupils. Saw me he did.
