I love this sweater!
I bought this 2 months ago, but didn't wear it until it got cold enough. Ever since, I barely take it off! Mine has a full zipper, pockets which are very handy, and micro-sueded stand-up collar, which adds to warmth. Great quality, keeps me so warm.

Purchased for my wife, she loves it!
Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present. Fits great, looks nice, warm. LL Bean's sizing is a bit strange. My wife wears a medium in almost everything else, but according to their size chart, she's a small, so that's what I ordered. The small did fit.

Not soft- itchy material
So these are supposedly 100% merino. It must be very low quality. The picture looks amazing, but in real life it's a very large knit, (old-fashioned), and an itchy hard material. I was wondering if it was a type of cottton but the label says merino. I have a lot of merino products and maybe the nylon in them makes them softer, but none feel like this. I returned it. I look for both products with both style and comfort. I did not try it on so can't say how it fits.

The neck is really soft and i get cold around my neck so you can wear it high and zipped or open and unzipped! Nice and warm for cooler days
