Replacement Liners with a New Use
I use them as gloves with hand warmers to walk my dog on cold days. The combination works better than anything else to keep my hands, especially fingers, warm while inserting my fingers into a leash.

Just as warm as the original
I was concerned by the reviews these would be too tight. The wrists are tighter than the original, but it is not a problem they are still plenty warm and do not harm circulation.

Potential
At 5'9," 138 lbs. (age 65) the size M fits nicely - except that the way-thick (doubled-over material) ribbed cuffs are 1" too long; thus difficult to get on & off, but not simply because they get caught up with long-sleeve clothing, but are way too tight: in (2) weeks of avg. usage both my thumbs are now getting sore / the stitching stress on the base of the thumbs on the palm side is causing separation holes. The plush, soft wool is nice, but pills a lot (I use scissors to give them a "haircut" every couple days).

Keeps me warm in 20 degree weather!
Outstanding warmth when coupled with their outer mitten companions. I can easily hike in 20 degree weather with these mittens ( along with their outers) and my fingers and hands stay warm and functional . Nothing beats wool for warmth!

Warm but too tight in the wrist
These are warm and the inside is soft and not itchy, but they are waaay to tight in the wrist. I do not have large wrists, but they start to hurt after a few minutes due to being constricted. I’m trying to stretch them out by soaking in water and placing over a large cylindrical item to dry. Hopefully this will help.
