Product Details
Thanks to customer feedback, we're introducing our most fitted jeans in a new high-rise straight-leg style. They're guaranteed to keep their shape, even after frequent washings, eliminating bagging and stretching over time.
Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.
- Black: 90% cotton, 8% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Rinsed, Stonewashed: 93% cotton, 5% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Premium stretch denim with S GENE® technology for superior shape retention.
- Fly front with button closure.

fit has changed
I expected these to fit like the classic fit jeans I already own, but they were too tight especially in the waist, not a good look at my age. Also didn't like the fabric, not denim material, 10% polyester and a little spandex. Wish the regular jeans came in black.

Poor quality, not real denim, chemical smell
LL Bean's denim jeans category has been taken over by their True Shape "technology". The "technology" means that the pants are 10% synthetic and have a strong chemical smell. They are mushy and squishy, and the orange trim thread makes them look cheap. What has happened to LL Bean?
