Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 93% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.

I love these jeans and that's saying a lot. I am 5'8" and weigh about 145 lbs. The size 8 fits perfect, except I wish they were an inch or two longer. The fabric has just enough give and even though they shrink a bit during the wash, they stretch back out. I liked them so much, I bought another pair.

Chemical odor.
Jeans fit well but had a strong unpleasant chemical odor that did not go away after washing. The odor did transfer to the other clothing it was washed with. I returned the jeans de to the smell.

So wanted to like these
These are a great comfortable fabric, but for a Classic Fit, they just sit too low. I can't imagine what the mid-rise are hanging onto. The rise in the crotch is too short and tight. I'm 5 feet 2 inches and 118 lbs. I bought the size 8 and 10, and the 8 would have been the best fit.

Very disappointed
The stretchy denim is clingy. The pockets are short and made of cheap material. They were returned. Very disappointing. I loved the llbean original fit relaxed denim jeans. Please bring them back!

Love these jeans, but fit is not quite as good
I have bought several pairs of jeans from LL Bean over the years. What I love most is being able to get jeans that are the right length for my short little legs! I hate having jeans that are too long that either have to be rolled up or hemmed. The petite length is perfect for me. But the waist sizing is not as good as it used to be. I'm still the same weight, and the fit is great everywhere except my waist - just a little too tight. But otherwise, they are great - made well, so they last.

Fit Perfectly
I am extremely pleased with the fit of these jeans. I have tried so many different brands and none have fit correctly as I have a smaller waist with a larger hip and thigh. These jeans fit perfectly and I will be ordering them again.
