great hiking/ backpacking bottle
Weight is at a premium when you're carrying everything on your back for an extended time period. This bottle shaves a couple of ounces off vs. the more common "sustain" Nalgene material. It also has a nice wide mouth for easy cleaning. (I'll never use a narrow mouth bottle again!) I use a removable insert that allows you to sip easily while moving without spilling. A Steripen water purifier also works well with this bottle, as it is clear enough to be able to view the colored indicator lights. It's certainly durable, as I've dropped it too many times to mention, and I personally never have a problem with graphic labels peeling, but then I only hand wash it with hot water and a soapy bottle brush, Very happy with this product.
