Very well made and comfortable to wear.
This is the second backpack that I own from LL Bean. I still have my commuter pack that I bought many years ago, that I use for work and travel. I bought the new back pack for summer day trips. It is ideal for packing daily hiking needs including clothes, food/water, and electronics. Love it. Well made and accessible compartments with ease.

Good looking, not the most confortable one
The back pack is nice, great finishing, good looking, but the back straps are not very confortable. They are very rigid and hard, and while I understand why they are probably hard (to give more support) it make a little unconfortable to wear the back pack on the first few weeks.
Another point that I read a lot of complains was regarding the water bottle pocket. Some people complaint it was not big enouth go storage their water bottle. In my case, it was too big and lose to accomodate a regular 16-18fl watter bottle that I ended up losing two bottle in the first week. My solution was to carry the water bottle inside the back pack and do not use the water bottle pocket.
