Favorite pants
These pants are very comfortable. I bought 3 pair. They are great for casual to semi dress. The stretch fabric provides a good fit for when a big eating weekend requires a little bit more room.

Durable with handy pocket
I have a few pairs of the rip stop pants so I got the same in shorts. Comfortable and I presume they too will durable. And the side pocket near the right thigh is a great place for smartphone.

Wide variation in size from pair to pair
I bought two pair a while ago and they fit well and were very comfortable, so I bought two more in different colors, all marked 32W x 34L, but the new ones are tighter in the waist by 3/4in and when one of the new ones looked clearly too long, I lined up all four and was staggered by the variation in actual length. When they fit, they are very comfortable and versatile.

Good pants, but not really designed for exploring
The “Explorer” branding is a bit misleading, as these seem to be designed more for leisure wear. The lightweight, stretchy material is comfortable and seems durable, but the tapered legs mean that these pants are snug at the ankle and cannot fit over hiking boots. A wider cuff might provide more protection to the ankles when moving through dense brush.
