Not Up to L.L .Bean's Solid Reputation
I purchased the Mocs for outdoor use. The shoe is well made but . . . it has some frustrating design issues. The lug soles are very thick and stiff. The result is as I walk, the sole does not flex, and with every step I feel the shoe pulling off my heel. The lugs are very deep, so anther issue deals with comfort. It feels like marbles under there in my fore foot. Finally, the buckskin laces simply don't stay tied, no matter how hard I "torque" the knots. Not happy with the purchase.

Nice but way over priced.
Have had these for a few weeks now wearing ok, but are not holding their shape.
Had hope that the quality Would be better when buying from Bean would be getting old fashion quality but like most thing in America we are seeing the slow death of quality. This will be my last shoe but from Beans.

Allagash bison was better
I bought these as you no longer carry the Allagash bison loafers that I have bought at least 3 pair of and would have ordered ahead it I had known they were being discontinued. The shoes are nice though I do not like the
muted tone but that is my problem as I should have known a color called Earth would not be shiny. They do run large compared to the same size bison shoe but wearable.
