Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC! I wanted a flannel shirt that harkened back to the shirts worn by my father and grandfather, and this is it. I bought it in teal, and sized up 2 sizes to get it BIG, rather than semi-fitted. As soon as it arrived, I was in love. Not a plain weave, it utilizes the weave of the fabric and the yarns to make a very interesting pattern and texture in the flannel. And it was already soft, like I had been wearing it for years. I have 2 Scotch plaid flannel shirts from LLBean, but this is by far my favorite - immediately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely soft comfy flannel shirt The fabric in these shirts is wonderfully soft and sort of nubby. The closest word I can think to use is that it reminds me of a slub tee. Very soft and cozy and comfy and cuddly. These shirts do shrink during their first trip through the washer & dryer, If the shirt is a little large right out of the package, it will probably be just right after it's laundry machine journey.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foggy Blue not as pictured The Foggy Blue is not the pretty pale blues that appear on my MacBook. IRL the shirt is mainly a moody grey-blue that is kind of gloomy looking. Was hoping it was the pale color so that I could wear it with cream fisherman cardigans to lighten things up on dark winter days. Hope LL Bean will make some softer colors as well as vibrant ones (bright red plaid please...not with green or black!) in the future. I am 5'3" 125 and the small fit fine. Nevertheless really dislike the colorway so it's going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am so disappointed. I ordered this in late September so I'd be ready for winter. I thought it looked kind of worn after the first wash, but thought it would get better. I have washed this twice now, and it has shrunk to the point where the buttons gap. It looks like it's ten years old. I was just sitting here thinking how rough it looks, when I noticed that the seam next to the 2nd button up on the cuff has a big tear right along the seam. I am shocked. I have been buying from LL Bean for over 40 years, and this is the worst item have ever gotten. I am usually very pleased with the quality, workmanship and durability of Bean's clothing. It is a sad day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So soft! Soft, warm, luscious colors! I live in flannel during the cold months and bought the shirt to go with this season’s « in » color, brown. Liked it even better when it came, as it has some orange and light green that are more unexpected and add zip to the effect. It’s also so very soft! Warm and well-made as is Bean’s customary standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm shirt, perfect fit. Warm shirt, good fit, love the plaid. It washes and dries nicely, too.
