Currently it is warm weather but it feels like it will be a nice warm parka. I love the features that it comes down to my thighs and has a waist drawstring. Also a nice warm collar that snaps closed and interior cuffs that come down snug to my hands. I must agree with other comments that the zipper looks like it may fail in the future. It is plastic instead of metal. For the $300 price tag it seems it wouldn’t have cost the company too much more to put in a good heavyweight zipper so that the coat will last a good long time. I hope it will as everything else about it is Great!

Bought for our rare sub-freezing weather here in Florida.
Heating wasn’t working well so it was much needed. It did a great job getting us through it.

SO Pleased with this coat
This coat seriously has it all. I love all of the thoughtful details that were included. It's waterproof and windproof, thick and warm without restricting movement, there are cinches for your waist and even straps so that you can take the coat off and carry it like a backpack. There are SO many pockets, inside and out. I bought this coat specifically for a trip to Norway during the dead of winter. I was north of the Arctic Circle and it kept me comfortably warm. I ordered a large to ensure bulky sweaters would fit underneath it. But, I probably could've sized down to a medium. If you're on the fence and usually wear medium coats, medium will probably work for you. If you buy nothing else, buy this coat.
