legs not straight as advertised
Supposed to be straight leg jeans, but at the bottom of the legs they flared out and were very wide.

Amended review
I have to amend my "These Will Work" review to say that no, these will not work. After wearing the jeans around the house (with tags still attached) I decided the waist sits too low for this 62-year old's comfort (even though they say "high rise"). So, the Signature jeans will be returned. Note to LL Bean: you have so many jean options now and all of the different descriptions and fabrics make jean shopping rather difficult. The pair I'm wearing at this moment are the old style - all denim, and say "original fit" on the label (item #272059). You still make the old-school denim men's jeans, but you've really changed things for the women.

Where have slim LLBean sizes gone?
Sad, original classic fit high rise LL Bean jeans are a thing of the past. I ordered two different styles hoping they came close to the ones I have been ordering for years. Huge sizes even though I always order size small, 6, petite. Hey, either the wrong size tags are on them OR??? Very disappointed.

These will work
Pants are difficult for me! I am 62, curvy, with 44" hips and a 32.5" waist. These jeans work well enough for me to keep them - waist fits well. Legs are a bit snug, but if I dropped a couple pounds, this would help! I like the higher rise, the fabric weight and feel - it's just stretchy enough and soft. Front pockets are a bit small but this doesn't bother me. For context, the LL Bean Comfort Trail pants fit me well (love the adjustable waist; almost too roomy in the legs) and the LL Bean Mountainside Pants fit well (both in size 14, regular length).

Bean jeans
Bean jeans are not what they used to be. Fabric is flimsy and pockets are so small they are useless. Sadly, I will be looking elsewhere for jeans from now on.

Disappointed!
I really miss the 100% cotton jeans that I used to get from LL Bean. These Signature jeans don't fit the same, are poor quality, and the pockets are way too small. They are also floppy at the ankles. These jeans are being returned and I'm going to look elsewhere for 100% cotton denim jeans.

May Take Some Getting Used to High Rise
These jeans are ok not my favorite by LL Bean but they work. They are also High Rise which I have not worn in many decades so may take some getting used to these.

Disappointed
I have bought LL Bean jeans for years and am disappointed in the fit. Even though supposed to be straight leg, the legs bloom out and flap about. I usually wear 8-10 but reviews cautioned me to size up.
