I. Love. These. Jeans. The quality is great, the fit is fantastic, and the rinse is modern but classic. They even come in medium/tall which is the perfect length for me at 5’8”. I had them in my cart for months and am so happy I finally but the bullet and bought them.

Poor quality
After years as a loyal and satisfied L L Bean customer this item is the first time I've returned an time due to its poor quality. I wore these jeans two or three times when I noticed that the hem was beginning to fray. Perhaps it was an anomaly, but I won't buy them again.

Not cropped enough for my liking
I am 5’3” and the petite jeans still touch my feet, unfortunately. Otherwise, I love these jeans! They are snug around the tummy area, but I’ve had two kids.
