Will this comforter work in a Chicago winter?
The answer is yes. The color was right (though I would have loved a white option too.) The weight of the comforter is significant (for those who like a weighted blanket) but not overwhelming. It keeps me very warm against an outside wall in Chicago's winter when the house thermostat is set to 65 degrees all night long. I like the fact that it is a bit longer than some comforters so it covers the sight of the blankets when they are tucked in at the foot of my bed. The width is good too offering good coverage on both sides of my tall 15" mattress. I haven't had it laundered yet (it is too big for my home machine) so I can't predict how the fill will react over time, but "out of the box" this has been a great purchase.

Perfect Navy Comforter
Absolutely love the comforter. I was a little nervous when I read some of the reviews. I disagree with most of them. It is light but so warm and I keep my house very cool at night. No disappointments here so far!
