With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

New replacement of an old friend
I had this coat in burnt orange for years. It was my dog walking coat and a perfect weight for fall and early winter days. I got rid of it when I moved to south Florida-- too warm and definitely not the beach style. But, we didn't stay in south Florida and I was kicking myself. After 2 years of doing "barn coat penance", I just bought this in green and I love it. I've seen some comments about this not being the same quality as previous years, but it seems identical to the jacket I bought around 2007. Can't wait for it to cool off enough to start wearing it and I don't plan to ever get rid of this one.

GREAT QUALITY AND VERSATILE.
LOVE THIS JACKET! JUST HEAVY ENOUGH TO KEEP ME WARM DURING THE TRANSITIONAL TIMES (WITH TEMPS AROUND THE 50'S) AND GREAT THAT IT'S WATER RESISTANT. LOVE THE VERSATILE OLIVE GREEN. VERY COMFORTABLE AND LOTS OF POCKET OPTIONS.

LOVE! A great fall coat
