Oh no--Discontinued
I have bought Bayside twills for many years. I love them. I just went to buy several pairs for the fall and winter--and they are discontinued. That's a disaster. These are the only pants I have found that fit well and always look good. Please LLBean, bring them back! Even at a higher price.

Bayside Twill Pant-hidden comfort waist
The material is great- all cotton, as I am not a fan of spandex, elastane, etc.
I have need of an relaxed fit through the hip and thigh.
The style is also good and I do like the hidden comfort waist

Poor "fit"
My personal experience was surprising...no, baffling. I have purchased Bayside twill pants for many years and they were wonderful. Something has changed in the fit. The material in texture and color were fine but the fit of the straight leg pants was bizarre. The length was fine, the waist fit but the amount of material in the thighs made them look like clown pants. The thighs were HUGE. I thought that I had made a mistake in ordering so I am returning the straight leg pants and ordering the tapered leg. Big mistake. The only thing tapering about them was from the knee to the ankle. The thighs fit like pantaloons. Unfortunately, they too are going back

Perfect except . . .
Be aware. Because the cotton used in these pants has been chemically treated to be wrinkle free. Unfortunately this means it is impossible to to remove common stains. Even treated before washing with oxy stain remover and deterget they wouldn't disapper. I loved these – the fit, the color, everyting. But now they are just gardening pants because of the stains.

My Go-To Pants
They look great all the time! The expandable waist is a huge plus for those of us who have waists that vary in size from day to day sometimes. They price is affordable, and the fabric holds up well wash after wash.
I have them in every color, and would buy more colors if they were available.
