Nice coat, but…..
Nicely made coat with several issues for me….sleeves should have elastic at cuff so length is more adaptable (I have to shorten them); very large inside pocket would be great if it not for the fact that it is open at the bottom (I have to sew the bottom of pocket closed for my use); fit seems snugger than other LL Bean coats of same size. It would be nice to be a bit looser so could wear thicker clothing underneath.

Nice jacket
I do like this jacket and have worn it a few times so far this season. My only issue is I wish I could have gotten it in the next size up but was unavailable. It is a little snug on me. I love the material and will be keeping it.

Perfect for Fall or a chilly Spring
I bought this for traveling. There are times I want a jacket along but don't want to lug a winter jacket and a light jacket. It's actually a bit warm sometimes. Good quality. I like that it truly does cover my backside so no wind coming up the back. I wish it were in more jewel colors.

Great Jacket, Need More Colors
I love this jacket! Wish it was in more colors so I could buy another one. The fleece is not too heavy on the inside and the shell is soft on the outside. My only suggestion is the sleeve openings should be a bit tighter or adjustable. Great price too!

Another Top Notch LL Bean Jacket
I own several LL bean coats and jackets and had to add this one to my collection. It is a soft shell jacket that can be worn on its own for wind and rain protection. Obviously it will keep you warm as well. Think of it as almost a liner you find in a heavier (hard shell) winter jacket. It can be cinched at the waist inside. It has a wonderful 12" deep inside pocket for your phone or other things. And the hood keeps your head warm. I ordered my usual size Large and the fit is accurate. I was happy to find it that I can slip it under my lighter LL Bean raincoat (also size large) for extra warmth. Since it is June, I have not yet tested it outdoors- I am in New England but I am confident it will perform as promised. I don't think its designed for freezing winter temps alone but it certainly could be a layer. Buy it!
