Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Very roomy
I bought the deep wine color in L. It fits like an XL, quite loose, like a shirtjac. It was made in Sri Lanka. The arms are too long. I can't say I'm in love with the feel of the fabric. I was expecting a softer fabric.

these are great shirts. I have them in seveal colors; navy, gray, brown and barley. However, unfortunately, the traditional is not longer offered in barley. A light color is desirable.
