The high-quality fabric goes through a special washing process so it feels soft from the start, with no break in required. Then we carefully selected button, rivet and thread colors that are unique to each wash for a classic look--it's these small details that make all the difference. Imposter 33x34 jeans
Before removing them from the plastic bag, I thought they looked baggy, like “relaxed” fit perhaps. I pulled them out and they looked short. I tried them on and my shins felt a bit of a draft. In the photo, you can see my older pair of Men’s Mountain Town Cordura jeans by LL Bean (I loved the heck out of that line! The fit was MARVELOUS! But alas, LL Bean no longer carries this line) with the new pair on top. The jeans on the bottom are truly 33x34. They are sticking out on the top just a little and at the bottom even more than these imposter 33x34 jeans. Quite a disappointment and the length of time to go through the process of sending these back because of these capri-like jeans I received is frustrating.
“Too Small” or “Too Large”? What do I choose? They are big and baggy, thus too large, yet they are too short.

When the waist was measured on three pair it actually was 35” to almost 37 “
This is unacceptable and the jeans were returned for a better fit and truer size

Don’t like the move to stretchy fabric!
Love the company. Don’t like the jeans. Ordered 3 pairs. Thought I was ordering 100% cotton, because microfiber gets too hot for me. Maybe this is the only thing you make/sell now, but I really dislike the fabric. Asked for a 35 inseam. These are no smaller, and slightly larger, maybe, than any 36-inch waist jeans I ever owned. I buy (or, bought) LL Bean jeans for the waist sizes in the first place. Paid about $80 per pair. Poor purchase. These are not “vintage” jeans in any way—they’re a microfiber product.

Great fit!
These jeans fit great. I am 77 and getting the fit right is getting harder as my anatomy changes. The material seems flimsier and my guess is that they won’t last as long as my old Bean jeans did.

I've been very pleased with earlier purchases of LLB 'vintage' clothing, drawing on designs from an era that usually meant heavier fabrics with seams and layers that made the clothing more durable, fit, and comfortable.
These jeans? Limp. Had it not been for the receipt I wouldn't have believed they came from LLB but rather have come from a mall store, where my kids used to get those "good for two washings" jeans. I'm unhappy with these jeans, which given the quality of earlier LLB jean purchases, instead seem like cheap imitations.

LL Jeans!
These jeans are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn, and I'm 72 and have had many styles and brands over the years. They look and wear very well. They move with me and never pull when sitting or bending. After buying my first pair I immediately bought a second. My other jeans will be regulated to yard work.
