Comfortable but flawed
The fabric is comfortable to wear. It’s very stretchy and drapes. The pattern is only on one side. It’s not hemmed, it has serging on the edges. Because of that, it curls and does not lie flat. So no matter what you do, the grey underside will show. It’s so soft, it’s similar to t-shirt material so it also sags. 5 stars on comfort, 2 stars on appearance.

Love a good Bandana!
I was surprised that this is synthetic and not cotton. I will use it, but feel like a true bandana is cotton and always will be cotton! Yes, I am old, but I know what feels good and nothing feels like cotton.

Great bandana in a generous size
I love these bandanas because they have spandex/stretch and are UPF 30+.
The stretch makes them stay tied and not slip off.
The UPF is important to me for sun protection.

Highly absorbent for an active vacation
Very absorbent & wondered wicking affect. This scarf wicked the sweat from my head while cycling & kept me very warm while cycling on the Arran Islands of Ireland.

Not as advertised - it's white on the back
Bought the red one and wanted to use it for a scarf but if I'd known only one side was red and the other white, I never would have bought it since it makes it really unattractive for a scarf
It's not right that the pictures and description don’t say it’s only printed on one side. This feels like false advertising. I’m really disappointed with this company and don’t plan to buy anything from them in the future since this makes me wonder if what I’m seeing and reading about the other products is actually what I’m going to get.
The LLBean at the bottom corner of the red scarf is in shiny silver type, and though they’ve taken the picture to make it look like it blends into the scarf, it doesn’t, and it’s as glaring and obvious when the scarf is tied around the neck like the black and white scarf as the LLBean is on the orange and blue scarf. Who wants to be a walking LLBean advertisement? It’s strange that they’ve put the logo on it like this instead of putting it on the tag, or making it much smaller and unobtrusive.

Bandanas for sun and dust protection,
I bought both the red and gold bandanas, I’m using them to keep sun off my neck when I’m outdoors. They also are great when mowing when it’s dry and dusty, I pull them up over my nose like cowboys do. Also, they are soft and I like the prints.

Bigger than most cotton bandanas and more versital for wearing. This has stretch which makes it easier to use as a headband or head scarf. It could also be put to use as a towel or wash cloth. I wouldn't recommend using it to grab hot pots because the synthetic would melt.
