Shoulder seams poorly made
I am disappointed with the quality of these sweaters, the shoulder seams are intentionally sewn inside out and the stitching is not up to Bean standards.

Let Down
I had ordered cotton cashmere sweaters many times before this season. I get the same size PS each time. This time I excitedly tried on the sweater and the styling or shape was not as usual. The sweater was very wide and looked like it swallowed me up. I took out one I bought last year and compared them. Inches wider in width. Standing so far from the body when it's starting to get cool outside is not something I want with cold air blowing up the sweater. I'm hoping this was a mistake in the pattern this year because I look forward to these sweaters for fall and spring.

Nice quality fabric
The sizing seems a little large. I normally wear large and it felt more roomy. I got the petite sizing and the shoulder seams also seem “too big.” I do like the feel of the sweater and washed well - I dried by laying flat .

Arm seams and bottom cuff look attached inside out
I had a terrible time figuring out which side of the sweater should be worn out and what was the inside. According to the neck label, the arm seams and bottom cuff look like they are attached inside out. This is not suitable to wear out in public.

Sizing is good, shape is flattering. I like that it can be machine washed. I hang dry it, then throw it in the dryer on low for just a few minutes (less than 15 minutes) with no shrinkage. Flattering style too.

Perfect sweater
This cashmere/cotton sweater is my go-to from fall to spring. I have just about every color. They are the perfect weight—warm, but not bulky or too heavy. The colors are so pretty. I wash them, dry them, just a few minutes in the dryer, and dry flat. The shape is maintained, and any shrinkage prevented. I wear them everyday in the cool months—home, church, and before retirement, to work. This latest color, plum, is pretty. Can’t wait for cooler weather to wear it.
