Our heaviest-weight flannel, now in stripes. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.

Nice fit and feel. I wish it didn’t have button flaps on the pockets though. Why have pickets and then button them shut?

Men's tall stripe chamois shirt
The tall large traditional was a perfect fit as usual from Bean's. Nice and soft, warm and comfy on cool evenings. Same excellent quality that I've experienced since the 1970's!

So disappointed
I bought this as a gift for my husband a couple of years ago. He is VERY hard to shop for, and I was delighted that he loved this shirt. Because he loved it, he only wore it occasionally, as an overshirt, because he didn't want to ruin it. (I know, it doesn't make sense to me, I wear the heck out of the clothes I like). Anyway, it's only been laundered once or twice, and the shoulder seam is coming apart. It hasn't come unstitched - the fabric has pulled out of the seam. As another reviewer noted, it can't be repaired because there's no seam allowance. It was the same shirt - nautical navy. I'm considering getting another color on sale in the hopes that it was only a problem with that color.
