Expanded can fit bento box and thermos!
Cute, amazing how it expands and amazing what it can fit when it does! We were able to fit both a bento box and a thermos in the lunch box once expanded. Highly recommend.

Expandable Lunch Box Review
The lunch box is attractive and well made and I love that it expands, but wish the handle was a little longer and that there was a pocket for a water bottle. Also, I wish my grandson's initials stood out more than the LL Bean logo!

Perfect for school!
I love the expandable option! This fits a kids Bento lunchbox and sim cooler pack with ease, plus room in the front zip for utensils/napkin. The tabs by the zippers are so convenient to help open and close it! It also washes really well with dawn and water.

Kindergarten lunch box
Sturdy material, I like that the zipper gives the option to expand the bag for larger items. The zipper is getting stuck occasionally, hopefully it will last.

Not good for adults
This box is only “roomy” for children. Expanded it is still small. The orientation also makes no sense. There is a carry handle on the side, so if you pack the lunch box the normal way, you better be 100% sure nothing is going to leak when oriented sideways all day.
