Order darker colors for more coverage
These shorts were very lightweight and fit well. I wanted to keep them but I could see my underwear through them! I loved the light green color, but returned them. I did order the same shorts in royal blue and kept them, since the coverage was better. .

Versatile shorts for land or water
Love these versatile shorts, can be worn in and out of water and looks great either way. I wore a bikini bottom underneath shorts while white water rafting since there isn’t a liner, and also wore as shorts while hiking. Very comfortable and fits true to size, the length is perfect for especially for my heavier/muscular thighs. Highly recommend, and I need to purchase in another color for upcoming vacation.

Cool, loose shorts. Good sun protection
These shorts are very comfortable. They feel cool and a little loose, but that adds to the coolness of them. The length is good. I liked them enough I purchased a second color. I can't always count on LLBean's sizes to be consistent. I purchased these in a size four.

Fit not for me
Ordered a medium which I normally do, but a large would have been better for me. Seemed short waisted and not much give in the waist. Should have reviewed the size chart.
