Stiff
This is not a pliable,soft fleece jacket.It must be the interior lining that makes it stiff and oddly narrow in the waist area.I ordered a size large and I am not large in the middle or top,just wanted room for layers,yet it didn’t hang comfortably ,it had a stiff shape to it and was not comfortable.Returned,also way overpriced.

Jacket is cute and going to be quite warm! Most of Michigan Winter I don't require very heavy coats so this will get me through months without the parka.
Inside lining isn't fluffy which is fine for me as I will layer if needed but likely just fine with sweaters and sweatshirts wear.
Looking forward to wearing this and happy with the as-pictured and described purchase!

I love this coat😊
This is the perfect coat for Spring and Fall in New England. I walk miles in the morning . . It has great deep zip pockets for my phone and keys and is nice and toasty ;) Washes wonderfully too!

Love this jacket!
I love this jacket. I like that it comes about mid thigh, really helpful for winter dog park days and sitting on cold benches. Also, a great cold weather camping jacket. The sleeves aren’t lined so your arm (when you have sleeved shirts on) they slip in easily. Highly suggest this jacket!

Not the LL Bean of the past
I purchased this Mountain Pile Fleece thinking it would be fleece lined. Unfortunately, was very disappointed as the linking is more like canvas or some type of fabric that is used to make fire fighter gear. So hard and uncomfortable. Wish LL Bean would make the clothes that are the classics that people love and come back for.

Like wearing a rug
I love the design of this fleece: the color,the length is great as is the depth of the pockets. Well sewn as is most LL Bean merchandise. However, it has a major sticking point for me. The fleece itself has a backing of really heavy almost neoprene lining that is directly attached to the fleece. It is extremely heavy and cumbersome to wear is not warm and cozy which was what I was expecting Also, it is not their usual sizing. I am normally small to medium and this runs snug . I am so disappointed in this and will be returning it
