Favorite winter coat of all time!
My first LL Bean 850 down coat was purchased in 2015. I have loved it for 10 years. It’s so durable and warm. I describe it as I’m wearing a down sleeping bag. Lightweight and insulated. My old coat was damaged so I immediately replaced it. Repaired the old one and will donate it. I tell anyone who will listen how wonderful these coats are. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent bathrobe! Yes I said bathrobe!
I have been gratefully wearing this creature’s little brother around the house for years now (i.e. a mid-thigh length, heavily patched 850 down sweater) & after moving back north I splurged on the longer, warmer version.
Bliss, sheer bliss…get out of bed in a “cheap Yankee thermostat setting house” on a frosty winter morning, put this long & toasty wrapper on & it’s like armor against the dismay. So, so happy I pulled the trigger on this long, puffy and warm “bathrobe”. Zipper’s working fine for me; ymmv.

Fantastic winter coat!
Was looking for a long winter coat that I could wear with layers and found it. Easy to throw on over bulky sweaters to run errands, but equally as easy to throw on over a suit when headed to work in the bitter cold.

Not what I expected
Purchase due to the high fill rating. I was very disappointed how jacket seemed to have no fill inside. You could pinch the inner and outer between your fingers and feel nothing in between. For the cost I was expecting more.
