Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanieBeaner from Wicked comfortable I ordered 3 different sizes - petite xs, petite s and regular s. I'm typically a petite xs at LL Bean. I would say that the petite xs fits true to size. HOWEVER, I decided to go with the petite small after other reviews said that this set will shrink in the dryer. I'm really glad I did and honestly could have gone with a regular small. After the dryer, the petite small fits like a petite xs. If you plan to just air dry, I would go with the petite xs, but if you plan to put it in the dryer, definitely size up! It is so comfortable! You can honestly wear the two pieces separately -- great deal for a sweatshirt AND a pair of sweats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by allyssa from super comfortable This is the first item of clothing I've bought and kept even though it makes me look like an apple. It's so comfortable, I don't care. I think I'll take in the sides of the pants, because they're too wide; the petite XS was unavailable so I bought the S. The pockets on the pants could go; they're not needed when the top has a kangaroo pocket and they only contribute to the apple shape. But the set is so comfy it's like being enveloped in a cloud. I loathe having to change out of this when I get up in the morning, and it's what I change into as as soon as I get home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tntgal from Neckline Mostly I like the PJ's .. they're great for lounging around in the evening as the temp inside the house is moving downwards. I've washed them a few times and they're holding up well (though I'd recommend using "Shout" color catchers in the wash since even on cold there was some dye loss). My main criticism is the neckline ... that odd little opening in the front is just annoying. It's always sort of irritating my chin, and I'm always tugging it down. I wish it was just a basic crew or scoop neck. The extra mock turtleneck doesn't make the PJ's warmer, but IS annoying to my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PerfectFitPantsFan from Hard to take off! These pjs are so comfortable it was a challenge to make yourself take them off and exchange them for a larger size. The size runs small though in the legs, both too short and a little too snug. On Beans pants I usually wear extra small Petite and I found that the pants on these pjs were short on me at 5'1". I'd definitely recommend ordering a larger size than you usually do and have returned the smalls for a medium - I want them to come down to my ankle for the great warmth they otherwise offer.. The indigo color is rich and beautiful and the pockets in both the pants and the top are a huge plus. I'd be very comfortable also wearing them on errands etc. as they look like a high class leisure outfit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GreatDaneMom from Strong odor in fabric Im giving one star because the set is soft and I like the blue color. When it first arrived, I noticed there was an odor coming from the set. I figured washing it would take that away. I had read reviews previously saying it can shrink so I washed and let air dry. When I tried it on again, I couldnt wear it the smell was so bad. Hard to describe the smell but it's bad enough I cant even be within a few feet without smelling it. I'm going to wash it a few more times to hopefully get this stench out but do not recommend this product for that reason. Very disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HappyCampter from Snug fit for pajamas I like my pajamas to be floppy and oversized. These were not that. I sent them back for an XL which is so weird because sleepwear is often already oversized. I don't wear an XL in anything day-or nightwear. These have been waitlisted for some time now so I still don't know if that'll solve the problem though I'd like to think it will. I'll go on wearing all my medium and large clothing while I await these. They did feel soft, though I obviously didn't launder them so don't know how that'll go. But LLBean is trustworthy so if they fail in the laundry, I know Bean will stand behind them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wauwatosan from Just What I Was Looking For When you live in Wisconsin and it's icy, snowy and minus two degrees, there just might be a day when you stay in your pjs. Just saying. So it's nice to have this set which has a lounge-wear look and doesn't scream "I haven't changed into clothes yet and it's 3p." I could let a delivery person see me in these and not be embarrassed. I'm thin and appreciated that the pants weren't super baggy. Very comfortable and includes pockets to stuff with tissues or things I pick up around the house as I clean. Just wish the material was a little heavier. I would have opted for a hefty sweatshirt material or even fleece. But I'm always cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alabuckeye from Cute and Warm I like the high neckline for warmth. The interior is soft and warm as well. Read the washing guidelines - Don't use fabric softener...It weakens the loft. Since it resembles a jogging suit, you can walk to the mailbox or use for lounging during the day. Like others have said, the length is too short for my medium height. The inseam measures 28". I wish it were an inch or two longer.
