      • Height: 3".

    Why We Love Them
We've taken our customer-favorite snow sneakers and added Vibram Arctic Grip. This innovative technology is designed for unparalleled traction on wet ice. Paired with Vibram’s IceTrek lugged sole, for superior slip resistance on cold, slick or snow-covered terrain, it offers the ultimate performance in winter footwear. Plus, a thermochromatic lug turns from white to blue when the temperatures fall below freezing, so you know they're working.

Women's Snow Sneakers with Arctic Grip, Low Lace-Up is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from stable shoes The Women's Snow Sneakers with Arctic Grip are well built and solid. I expect that they will last for years. My feet stay plenty warm and dry in these. I would prefer them in a slip on/off shoe rather than a lace up for ease and speed of kicking them off when coming back inside. I didn't notice where they gripped the ice as I thought they might based on the description. If you're looking for a shoe to feel surefooted, confident, and stable walking on slippery snow covered surfaces these shoes are great for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable for those with foot issues I must say these were worth every penny. I feel sure footed in snow while walking, the boots allow almost a sneaker like awareness of where my feet are. The insoles are removable, allowing me to wear my full length prescription orthotics. Great foot/sole support. Toe box is roomy, even with the orthotics. Toasty warm. Unlike other boots I've used, when I get inside I'm not in a rush to take these off because they don't hurt my feet at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe, but....... I ordered my regular size, 81/2, regular width, and that part was fine. Good looking shoe with all the additions to make snow travel safer, easier and more comfortable. However those same "pluses" also made the shoe very HEAVY. I am a very senior lady who insists on being active outside in all seasons, but the weight of this shoe tired out my legs just trying them out in the house! Now I'll know to check out the weight of winter shoes & boots. So, even though the shoe was just what I wanted, it wasn't what I could use comfortably, so I had to send it back. I gave it 4 stars and knocked off one star to indicate I had a problem with the shoe. However, if this shoes looks good to you and you've got strong legs, buy it. I bet you'll be very happy with it,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Arctic Grip I purchased these for the Arctic Grip soles and for the sneaker profile that's less clunky than boots. The soles really do help with traction in slippery conditions, and the shoes are well-made and relatively attractive as these things go. They are, however, quite stiff to the point of bruising my ankle where the shoe laces up. They feel a bit awkward to wear. I will keep them for the traction, but I wish they were in general more forgiving and flexible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, not too heavy, & good traction Live in the Great Lakes snow belt. Very comfortable, warm, not too heavy, and traction is good. Size ran slightly big for my daughter and I but did not affect my fit. Ordered 1/2 size down for daughter. Little bit of extra room allows me to wear with or without heavy sock. Great for driving, and running errands in snowy weather :).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever These snow sneakers have been maybe the best thing I have ever purchased anywhere. After falling 2 times in my own backyard on ice I didn't know was there, I found these on Bean and ordered them. They really do work. I think I'm invincible. They fit so well as if they were made for me. Thank you L.L.Bean

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm! VERY WARM! I have trouble keeping circulation in my toes on cold days, but these kept my feet warm for hours while standing in several inches of snow. The Arctic Grip works rather well, but won't stop 100% of slips on icy pavement (which is acknowledged on the shoe's tags, so no disappointment there). My only gripe is that the shoe opening is stiff and so the top of the tongue and the adjacent opening part of the shoe cuts into the top of my ankle a little. I have already sung praises of this shoe to friends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way Too Stiff I received these shoes today, as did my husband. We both found them slightly on the small side and way, way too inflexible. Also the body of the shoe extends too far up my foot in front where the laces are, so that when I walk and my foot bends, it hit right there and is uncomfortable. My husband found that the shoe hits on his ankle bone. It is like LL Bean did no fit testing on different people. These are nice looking shoes but I will be returning both pair as they are too uncomfortable to wear.
