Rated 3 out of 5 by justjayj from Lovely boot, but Wide wasn't Wide These were extremely disappointing. It's clearly a really well-made shoe. But it was way too narrow. I measure to a 5.5D and usually wear a 6B, but when I can get a wide, I grab it. Unfortunately, these felt way narrower than my Keens in a 6B, though the insoles were about the same width. I also compared the insoles to some of my casual shoes in a 6B and they were the same or just a fraction wider. Which means these measure up to somewhere between a B and C width, nowhere near a D. It is so hard to find someone even selling wide boots in ladies sizes, much less smaller ladies sizes, that these are doubly disappointing. Do better, L.L. Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by stonecold from Good for Flat Feet. This is my first review of the new version of the snow sneakers. So far great arch SUPPORT. I disagree with the previous reviewer on the arch support issue since I also wear orthotics. Its still too warm to know how this boot will do in snow-but its very hard to find a boot that is good for plantar fasciitis and this one is passing so far. This boot is better than boots you can buy at the Mall with Zero arch support and loads of useless Bling that falls off the minute you get into a snowstorm.Given that we are still getting the same 200 grams of Primaloft as in the older version of the snow sneaker-I remain optimistic about the future of this shoe...

Rated 5 out of 5 by IdahoBotanist from Great boot-sneaker hybrid North Idaho experienced heavy and persistent late winter snow and this snow sneaker took care of all my winter work and fun. I shoveled a lot of snow, walked many miles without ever slipping on compact snow and ice, they fit fine into my snow shoes, and my feet stayed warm under the snowmobile windchill. In fact, my feet were never cold or wet the entire winter, even in -25 degree F weather. Also an important factor, this snow sneaker is very comfortable. I highly recommend without any reservations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyFeet from Great for cold and light snow I rarely review anything, but have to say these lightweight, insulated boots are great!! They are very lightweight, comfortable, and warm, with decent traction. Good room in the toe box. Great for hiking, dog walks and trips into town on cold days, especially when there is some snow and a bit of ice on the ground. I have worn them up to the ski basin, instead of heavier boots made more for that purpose. (I live in northern New Mexico. We have temps here in 30s, 20s, teens, down to single digits. The climate is mostly dry, so I don't know yet how these perform in wet and slushy conditions... but so far my feet have stayed warm, dry and happy.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Harry from The best boot I've ever wore Having plantars fasciitis, I could never find the boot that my big foot would fit in, because I would always have to use a special insole. Not with this excellent boot. I can toss the insole because this has a high arch. The boot is very well made and designed, having a size 14 EE, this boot works in every way. It's wider in the toes but does not make my foot feel like it doesn't fit in the shoe. It's super waterproof, it's extremely comfortable and light, it's extremely flexible and has excellent grip. Not to mention its warm. I've been in -10f so far and toes did not freeze. I would highly recommend this boot as the best all-around especially if you have a big foot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 5milesperday from Good boots The winter is still young, but so far these boots have been comfortable and warm. I have worn them with medium weight socks, in snow, at temps as low as 0, without getting cold feet. They are lightweight, too. I find the current model more supportive than the pair I returned a couple years ago. I’ve owned 3 or 4 pairs over the years and do miss some of the features of the earliest version. The new ones are taller, and tops are very stiff. I can’t use the top of the lace without getting my calf abraded. And I really, really miss the speed laces of old. Hence my rating of 4 stars instead of 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LongtimeVTCustomer from Snow Sneaks I’ve been buying these sneaks for years. I didn’t know that these snow sneaks were redesigned this year. They are wider in the toe area, your heel drops down considerably from the arch and the boot looks much cheaper. Due to the redesign, I had to go down1/2 a size. Overall the sneaks aren’t as comfortable, but are ok when I put an orthotic in the sneak. I do like the redesigned lace up eyelets, which seem more durable. One of the grommets pulled out of the sneaks I purchased a couple years ago and there was no way to reinsert the grommet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PattiCake from Super light and comfy I had a pair of the low boot sneakers about 3 years ago and they were much heavier. I decided to try these new taller ones and I'm so glad I did. They are so light like a sneaker. My feet stay warm when walking in Maine snow and they are very comfortable. I can wear my Smart Wool socks without having them be too tight. I'm so happy with these I wear them on my 3-4 mile walks and my feet never get cold or wet. I don't have any issue with them being higher tops. I think it also depends on how tight you tie your laces. They don't seem stiff to me. They are amazing and I highly recommend these if you are active outdoors in the snow.
