Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! It’s early in the season so I’ve only used these 2 times— but they’ve been great so far. I’d say they’re true to size when wearing socks you’d wear in cold weather. I tried them on with little no show socks and thought I’d ordered the wrong size, but put an average weight wool sock on and it was perfect. Fits thicker socks too. It’s snowed once so far and I had 2 pretty long walks in them— definitely waterproof, and I was impressed with how warm my feet stayed! I intend to use these as my snowshoe-ing boots because of their height and warmth (my snow shoes can strap in any footwear) and am really excited to use these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Large boot I loved this boot online, but sadly it was just too wide and too big for me. I wear an 8 1/2 narrow in regular shoes and I ordered a 9 in this boot for room for socks. Well, the 9 was huge and so I ordered an 8. Both of these sizes were in medium width as the boots don't come in narrow. The 8 was still too big, both in width and length. If the boot had been narrower I think I could have made the 8 work, but the boot is so wide that my foot was swimming inside of it. So, this boot is great for those that have a wider foot. Too bad for me though. Love the waterproofing and look of the boot, but alas both had to go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These Boots!!!!!! Hello I hope this helps people. These boots are my favorite! I wear them everyday. They look amazing and are very comfortable. I am very sensitive to the cold. They keep my feet dry and warm but not sweaty at all. I wear them all day at work. I walk my dog several times a day in all weather. I live in New Hampshire and we get it all. Mud puddles dirt roads snow ice everything. I have had mine for 3 months. they have held up great through our crazy winter of 2 feet of snow to 40s mud. They look great too I am not embarrassed to go out to the store or the mall in them. I Love the fluffy fake fur keeps my legs warm and comfortable too. I am normally cheap and don't spend this much money on my self. They are worth every penny. I would not hesitate to highly recommend these. I would buy them again in a heart beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too small over the top So I listened to the instructions, wear a 7.5 medium, ordered a 7. Boots were impossible to get on with regular socks. Put on really thin footies and they went on. Definitely long enough. The problem is the top arch, where the leather meets the rubber. This area is pushing down on my foot. It’s noticeable. Not painful but not particularly comfortable. I’m pondering going to the local store to see if they have an 8 for comparison because otherwise they seem great. Very warm. I wear a medium width and would not describe my feet as particularly fleshy. So, I’m a little disappointed, but I can tell they are great boots, hence the 4 star rating,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boots for the UP of Michigan These boots were ordered for this Southern Girl who was going to spend time in the UP of Michigan over a very cold, snow covered Christmas. They absolutely kept my feet warm and dry even through romps in the snow with the family puppy. The depth of the treads on the sole were deep enough to avoid slipping on ice spots. Now the caveat: thank goodness I broke them in prior to the trip. After the first time wearing them for an 8 hour day my ankles felt bruised from the stiffness in that section of the boots. This did soften up after about 3 wearings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Boots These are the best boots I've ever had, hands down. I bought them in February and wore them every day for a month in snow and ice! The first day I had them, I walked over 19,000 steps through downtown Des Moines and stood for 2 hours on hockey ice.....my feet were warm and comfy! Truly unbelievable quality. Got complements on them every time I wore them too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit; Warm! Already have a pair of Bean ankle high boots that are great, but we had too much snow so far this winter, and they are too short for playing in the backyard with the dog. Got sick of wet feet from all the snow coming over the top of the boots; so got a taller pair. I LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are warm, they fit like a glove. In fact my ankle boots are a little too big, but these fit like they were custom made for me! Thanks LL Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m a Sorrel convert for this product! I live in Park City, UT. My winter boots see 3-4 miles of hiking trails per day, usually ankle- to thigh-deep snow for 5-6 months out of the year. I was compelled to try this product after blowing through one pair of Sorrels every single year for the last three years (tears in the rubber next to my big toe, both left and right sides). To be fair, I’ve only owned these Boots for about one month, but so far I am extremely pleased. They are comfortable, warm, true-to-size, easy to pull on/off, not too bulky/heavy, and have served me very well so far in extreme conditions. I’m a fan and an official convert!
