Rated 4 out of 5 by NewRo2005 from Comfortable and great large pockets The Original Denim pants are very comfortable. The two best features are the large pockets and that the denim is a stretch material. I have several of the other Perfect Fit pants which I love. I ordered size M Petite (so as not to have to hem). The denim is a little bulkier in the hip/thigh area than the other styles (including the regular Original). But at this time my priorities are 1) comfort, and 2) large pockets, so this works for me. I no longer like to carry a pocketbook when I shop or do errands, so large pockets are a prerequisite I look for. These easily hold cell phone, credit cards, money, etc. without a chance of them falling out like with smaller smaller pockets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gramz from Nice, but.... I have ordered at least a dozen pairs of these jeans and love them because of the fit and the fact they don't get baggy while wearing. However, the most recent two pair I purchased had one pair that were way too long and baggy in the legs. It was like the legs of a regular, rather than petite, were attached. I am also finding that after repeated washing/drying, the fabric is wearing out on the edges and/or where the elastic crimps up. The color also fades rapidly in cold water wash with cold water detergent. However, these are the best fitting and looking jeans I have found in years. And they are SO comfortable!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by HB158 from Sizing Bought a pair of these stretch jeans a few months ago and loved them...PXL, fit perfectly. I immediately ordered another pair but they were on backorder. They arrived a few days ago, same size, PXL, but now they cling just like leggings. Nothing like the first pair. Who knew? I took off the tags and put them on assuming they'd fit great. So now I'm stuck with them. I just ordered one more pair, again on the dreaded backorder, but this time I'll immediately try them on and if they don't fit, back they go. I'm very leery of these backorder batches. They're like a box of candy...you never know what you're gonna get.

Rated 1 out of 5 by nycgal from Dye transfer problem Who wants to purchase a pair of pants that tell you to "wash before wearing" on a large tag even before you take them out of the plastic bag? During the short time it took for me to remove these pants and try them on, my fingers were stained blue from dye transfer from the fabric. The denim-look knit fabric is a excellent imitation of jeans, the fit seems true, but who has time to launder & dry these pants separately before wearing? I own 8 pairs of "perfect fit straight leg" pants, and they all have a "tummy panel" across the front which connects the side pockets. These denim pants do not have that panel, which is not a bad thing, but you should know that if that feature important to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trendygrandmother from Easy "to wear" I purchased the size large petite for my 95 year old active mother. She is 5'5" and 145 lbs and pear shaped. These were absolutely perfect. She likes the weight because the fabric has enough weight to keep you warm on a cool day. She appreciates a little "stretch" in the material so they don't loose their shape. Most of all she loves them because they are easy to pull up by arthritic hands and they have deep pockets for her cell phone!!!! All these factors make them..... in her words "easy to wear."

Rated 3 out of 5 by gabby456 from Store vs catalog Recently while in Maine, I purchased this pair of jeans. They are perfect, fit well, wash well, comfortable to wear. I wanted a second pair so using the label from the ones purchased in the store I ordered another pair. They look like the store bought pair but the are shorter, tighter and very uncomfortable. I sent them back and ordered another pair. Sorry to say the fit is the same as the other ordered pair, they were sent back also. I will wait for my next trip to Maine before I buy any more of these jeans. The original pair are worn at least twice a week. I think they will last.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 4wheeler from Perfect Fit ? I don't believe these jeans should be in the Perfect Fit category, along with the other pants. The problem is that they only stretch in one direction not two, as do the other pants. Therefore, they end up pulling tight and sharp in the crotch. This was especially apparent to me as I sit in a wheelchair all day. I buy the other Perfect Fit pants because they are so comfortable. These are not. I only wore them once and set them aside. I decided to check the stretch recently and discovered the discrepancy. I then realized why I never wore them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by annjantan from Good Fit, Flawed Fabric The first pair of these jeans I ordered earlier this fall had a subtle undetected flaw in the fabric which became worse over time and laundering. Still, I ordered a second pair thinking it was a one time problem. Not so, I discovered a similar flaw in the denim knit jeans with my most recent purchase and returned them. I still have the first pair and will be taking them to a reweaver who can, hopefully, make them less holey. I do not recommend this type of fabric for jeans. Only time I ever had a problem with LLBean merchandise so I will order in the future.
