Rated 1 out of 5 by GLH1 from Not really flannel lined Although advertised on line as flannel lined, once I got it and realized the material inside was not flannel, I looked at the label, packing slip, and then back at my email acknowledgement of the order. All said "print lined" -- Yet still on line, the listing says "Flannel lined." In my old pair of LLBean flannel lined jeans, the material is both thicker and softer. This thin, rough cotton material would add nothing to the warmth. I'll be returning it. And I question why they list is one way on the webpage and another in any acknowledgement of the order. It seems misleading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1019 from Not really flannel Billed as flannel, looks like flannel, but doesn't have the feel of flannel softness as in nightgowns as I expected. It's lined with flannel look alike cotton, but you don't get the immediate warmth or sense of thickness of flannel. On the plus side, sizing in LL Bean products is consistent. Once you've found your right size you can order with confidence. Another plus with LL Bean, if you receive a catalog and want to order, they have what you'd like to order as opposed to some other retailers. I will still shop at LL Bean, but am a bit disappointed with this purchase. I've purchased this produce before and the lining was thicker and softer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by thatwombat from Nice jeans for the right figure These are excellent jeans and well-made but they are not for everyone. The fit is very much suited for an hour-glass figure- ie., narrow waist with larger hips and thighs. Just holding the pants up before trying on, this was obvious. But I knew this before ordering and purchased accordingly. I do have a fairly narrow waistline and the "relaxed" fit in the thighs works for me. If you have a thicker waistline and/or narrow hips and thighs, these pants are not for you. These were my first ever pair of flannel-lined jeans and I had my doubts but they are very comfortable and snuggly on my legs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ClemintineM from Order one or two sizes bigger. I was super excited to get these pants because it's cold in our office. My normal size is a 6 or 8, depending on the company I buy from. These would have been my first pair of jeans from LL Bean and I never read the reviews for this one purchase, as I ALWAYS read the reviews. My loss :( , they are very small in the waist and I even got the size 8. Even if I had read the reviews, I still would have bought the size 8 thinking they would fit perfect since they run small. Other then the small waist, that is pretty tight, the fit is fine in the legs and the length. I'm still keeping them thought. I'll just need to run a few extra miles if I want to feel comfortable in them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dreamcatcher130 from Went through 3 sizes - all too small I typically wear a 6P or 8P in my pants and jeans. First I ordered the 6P and 8P in these jeans.....waist was so small I couldn't even button them! So I returned them for the size 10P (it killed me to order a size 10!)...again, way too small in the waist (my thighs however were swimming in these jeans). I held them up to another pair of jeans I have (different brand in a 6P) and these jeans were a whole 1" narrower in the waist! Unless you have a pencil waist (which I kind of already do, 5'2" 125#'s) don't waste your time with these jeans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by livesonwater from Well made jeans, but... I have bought LLBean lined jeans for years and have always loved them. However the past couple years, this year included, the redesign has been VERY DISAPPOINTING. I like relaxed fit so I can wear long underware under them on those really cold or windy days/nights. The current design, or construction, makes these jeans small in the waist and pretty baggy in the seat and thighs. I bought both a 10 and 12 and found no waist difference in the two sizes, and the 12 was just ridiculously baggy. I sent them both back and will try again next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hhnj from Great in the cold and wind I now have 2 pair of LLBean flannel lined jeans - the other are not the relaxed fit. Both have very true to size, if not small, waist bands. I'm petite with long legs and not very curvy and don't need a belt with these as waist is form fitting. They look like clown pants on me and I only wear them for barn chores, but MAN are they great in the cold and wind! It takes them a long time to soak through in the rain, too. Though there's a ton of excess material in hips/thighs/legs, it doesn't get in the way and they are perfect for winter work. I only give 4 stars as they're not what I typically wear out in public, but would recommend to friends who do chores outside!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gr8Goldn from Please fix these poorly proportioned jeans Despite the reviews I had read about the tight waist, I decided to order my normal size 6, seeing I would be in Freeport after the holidays and could always exchange them. The size 6 jeans only made it about half-way around my waist, while the rest of the fit was fine. At the Freeport store, I tried all the way up to a Size 12 before I could begin to button them, and even that size waist was snug. Of course they were way too baggy everywhere else. I hope LL Bean will fix the fit of these jeans soon. I never have the problem of having to go up several sizes in pants due to a tight waist.
