Why We Love It
If there are two things we love about this time of year, it's flannel and the outdoors. That's why we developed a flannel that's not only cozy but also environmentally friendly. We partnered with our flannel mill to create this sustainable fabric, then wear tested it to ensure softness and drape, wash after wash. The result is a fabric that feels wonderful to wear – and that we can feel good about wearing. And you'll only find it at L.L.Bean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Biill from Hangs Like an Old Rag Worst shirt ever tried anywhere. This shirt should not be advertised as flannel at all. Flannel is supposed to be all or nearly all wool or cotton. What ruins this shirt is the high tencel content. Google Tencel and you will be hard pressed to find a straight answer as to what it is made of. Essentially is is made by dissolving leftover wood pulp in bleach and spinning it into fabric. Clothing with more than 5% tencel looks like trash too. No body, no structure, just a lifeless hang. Good for table cloths and maybe ponchos but not tailored clothing. This shirt is no exception. It hangs like an old rag. Its double chest pockets and poor color choices make it doubly cheap looking. Is not representative of LL Bean merchandise at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dancer1 from Really Nice Nice detailing, loved the gray color AND the fabric is perfect. Soft and a great lighter weight but still warm variation on the 'typical' flannel shirt.....for my environment....perfection!! Medium fit perfectly for wear as shirt, I bought two, a Large also to wear comfortably as an over shirt around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kinetic from Nice for cool-weather While not as beefy as your other flannels this shirt was soft, comfortable, and surprisingly warm . The fabric is a little limp, I needed to touch up the placket and the collar with an iron, but after that it held up all day. Medium tall fit me well and I've ordered a second shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Benf from Comfortable I own four of these Rangely flannels now. Super soft and comfortable. I lift weights so I need to wear a size large to fit my shoulders well but it does leave a little extra room in the torso area, I don’t mind though, leaves room for a thermal underneath in the winter time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by babydragonfly from Softness Extraordinaire! I bought this flannel shirt for my son. It is buttery soft! He LOVES this shirt more than any others. It fits him well, it looks great on him, and it’s warm. I’d like to see it offered in more colors, because this flannel shirt is wonderful enough to purchase many!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ozone from Gray flannel shirti It is a nice shirt but not really heavy enough for cold climates. I have to wear a sleeveless sweater over it to stay warm. It would be great in Los Angeles, CA

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mhurt from Feel great, very soft. This is my first L.L. Bean shirt. I am very impressed with how the shirt feels. It is soft. Has a very comfortable fit. I did mark it has being "Somewhat Large" but that is only because I picked the Tall variant and wasn't expecting it to be as long as it is. But, I am quite happy with it. The fit is nice. I am on the larger size, could stand to drop of few LB's. This shirt still holds a nice line and hangs well. I am for sure getting more.
