Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Longer Made by Chippewa I didn't realize it from the product listing, but this boot is no longer made by Chippewa. I have been buying these boots for my husband for years, but this time I got a new boot by a new manufacturer. Not only was the size at least one half size too big, the quality does not appear up to Chippewa's standard. I'm sending them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful boot I think this boot is awesome. I wear them just about every day. I have had them for the past 3 years and they just get more comfortable with each wear!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wait and See I recently acquired these boots as a replacement to an earlier pair I purchased at LL Bean several years ago. The original pair was made by another manufacturer, but very reputable boot maker. I took very good care of those boots, (oiling them and cleaning then as necessary), and never abused them, using them primarily for hiking in the woods. After several years, however, the leather began to crack, and the soles were separating from both shoes, even though the soles showed little signs of wear. I am hoping that this new pair will not have the same issues, and perhaps this is why LL Bean went to another manufacturer. I can say that these new boots are very comfortable, and needed only a day or two for break-in. They appear to be well made, and have the same tough, heavily-lugged Vibram sole as my original pair. Right now I am more than happy with these boots, and would recommend them, especially since I got them on sale!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boots I've owned these for several years and like the fit. I can walk in them for miles with no problem. The soles are good for ice and snow. I keep them oiled with RedWing boot oil.
