These men's handsewn moccasins are a customer favorite for their classic style and custom-made feel that only gets better with time.
    Size & Fit
    • For best fit, wear with lightweight socks.
    • Please note: Handsewns need little breaking in, but should be worn two or three times before evaluating fit.
    Why We Love Them
In 1936 when Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced these shoes, he compared them to the unique comfort of a handmade Indian moccasin. That soft, custom-made feel is still apparent in each shoe sewn today.
    Construction
    • Full-grain leather upper conforms to your foot.
    • Traditional rubber sole with channel grooves for traction on wet surfaces.
    • Removable padded, moisture-wicking insole.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what they used to be I have been a customer since 1968. Trapper mocs were my first purchase. I just bought my zillenth pair of camp mocs. Somewhat disappointed. The mediums are narrow. The wide size is very wide. I settled on the wide. They will do for now with thick socks and with the inner soles, but the barefoot moc days are over. Leather is stiff and not that comfortable. The mocs themselves have no feel. For 50 years I have never been without a pair of LL Bean mocs, but these are not nearly as comfortable as my Sperry AO boat shoes, nor do they fit well, so I will keep them for a while, but this is likely the last pair. Sorry LL Bean. All things change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A BIG Disappointment Dear Bean, Over the past twenty years I can't tell you the number of Camp Moc I have purchased. I currently have four pair is various degrees of wear and tear. I wear them every weekend....spring, summer, winter and fall. Like the iconic Bean Boot these mocs have been a staple, something I could depend on being able to purchase year after year. Now like so many other things at Bean this has changed to....call it progress or just change, I call it...time to say goodbye to a dear friend. After years of LL Bean Warm Up Jackets, countless wool socks, jeans, shirts and of course Camp Moc....it's time to move on. Thanks for the memories LL Bean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I have been wearing LLbean Camp Moc's for 20+ years- I have owned 4 or 5 pairs during that time. Was finally time to replace my last pair- as soon as I took it out of the box I could tell it wasn't the same ole' LLbean Camp Moc. The quality of the leather was far inferior to my previous Moc's- it seemed much thinner and has already lost some of it's shape (after only a few weeks)... the seam across the foot is already not tight, and the fit itself seems bigger than previous pairs. It sure seems that the quality of these shoes is far inferior to what it once was ... and it is no longer made in the USA... disappointed...we will see how they do in a few months...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Say it isn't so! Like the rising and setting of the sun, I thought I would forever be able to count on ordering my husband a new pair of these shoes - his most frequently worn for at least the last 30 years. I still have mine from c. 1987. Hope the Blutcher Moc and the Bean Boot aren't the next to go. If they do - look out Boat and Tote Bag. L.L. Bean - I hope you will note these many comments from loyal customers who turn to you for these classic parts of our everyday life. While I recognize that businesses must evolve with the times, there are some traditions that should be maintained - I can't imagine that this wasn't among your best sellers. I hope you will reconsider. . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoes, Awkward Sizing. These shoes are absolutely wonderful, that is, once you find the right size. The leather is thick and sturdy, and the cactus color looks really great. I've seen both versions, and the cactus color appeals to me much more, it is a little more casual and toned down. Regarding the fit, I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, but with these shoes, I'm wearing an 8. I did, however, take out the insoles as I find the shoes much more comfortable without the insoles. I also got them in wide, as the regular version is very narrow and tight. To sum up the sizing, unless you have narrow feet or like tight toe-boxes, I'd recommend buying a half to full size down and getting it in wide.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Squeaky soles I've bought moccasins from L.L. Bean for the last 50 years. The pair I received yesterday squeak when walking on surfaces inside my house, except on carpet. I haven't worn them outside yet. The soles seem to have a different pattern and the part near the toe has a different surface. They also seem to run a little bit big. I don't know what's going on with L.L. Bean, but in recent years I've noticed that quality isn't what it once was - and I buy lots of L.L. Bean merchandise. I haven't decided yet what to do about the moccasins. Otherwise, they're comfortable and well made, but who wants to wear squeaky shoes?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable and comfortable! I contacted L.L. Bean's amazing customer service for sizing help on these shoes to avoid any guesswork--I told them my feet were 10.25 inches long, and I wanted a snug fit with socks on. They quickly suggested I get a pair in a size 9, and I was really happy about how they fit. They were a little stiff and tight around the forefoot when I first got them, and they had a little heel slippage, but all these minor issues went away once the camp mocs were broken in, which happened really fast. The insoles, as well as the leather laces, are really nice touches. These shoes are definitely a favorite of mine, and I wear them frequently throughout the week.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from QUALITY DOWNGRADED I PURCHASED THIS CAMP MOC BACK IN DECEMBER OF 2014 AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. WITH 3 YEARS OF DAILY USE IN AND OUTDOORS, I REALLY WANTED A FRESH NEW PAIR. THE RE-ORDERED PAIR DECEMBER 2017 HAVE SUFFERED A QUALITY DOWNGRADE! EACH MOC IS 3OZ. LIGHTER IN WEGHT AND THE LEATHER IS NOT NEAR AS SUPPLE AND HIGH QUALITY AS THE 2014 VERSION. BEAN DECIDED FOR WHATEVER REASON TO SWITCH FROM THE MANUFACTURER IN EL SALVADOR TO VIETNAM AND HENCE WE NOW SEE A LESSER QUALITY CAMP MOC UNFORTUNEATELY. FINALLY, THE SIZING IS WAY OFF FROM THE PRIOR VERSION IN THAT THEY ARE A HALF SIZE LONGER. THEY HAVE BEEN RETURNED PROMPTLY!!
