Too large
These would have been great for the cold snap we have been having but they were very large. I got a small for my 6 and a half year old son and they were falling off him. He is tall for he’s age as well. We returned them. If I purchase again I will have to get the XS. They seem great quality though. Just I have found all there kids mittens run extremely big. I am 37 with small hands and the small fit me.

These were great at first and seemed very warm. After about 3 months of wear, the material on the palms started to peel off. They also got very smelly on the inside and the instructions say not to wash but to wipe clean. I unfortunately had to invest in different mittens for my kids.

Terrible quality
The seam that attaches the thumb to the palm tore open in the first snow storm of the season and are no longer waterproof. I would have expected my child to be able to wear these mittens through one winter season. I am very disappointed in this product and usually buy LL Bean for the quality of their children's clothing.
