Awesome gloves
I went to LLB looking for gloves for myself (5’ 1 tall woman) and much to my surprise the adult gloves left in stock were way out of my price range so I walked over to the kids section and these fit great in a large. Extremely warm and totally water proof. Amazing

Much warmer than the gloves
We tried the cold buster gloves first; used for skiing but after an hour in 29degree clear weather, fingers were numb. Then ordered the mittens and even in colder weather could ski, sled, and play in snow for hours without cold hands. The material seems to be similar (great quality) but I’m a new believer in the mittens form factor, and my 9yo is too!

These mittens do get very wet when playing in the snow, almost sopping, but my daughters hands were toasty warm inside after playing in very wet snow for almost three hours. I have washed these many times and they hold up well. Getting ready to order the next size. She’s had them for several years and they look almost new. Will pass along to another kid!

Decent, water repellant not waterproof
These are decent for winter sports and staying warm, but do get wet with sledding and snow play. Also, the tag says not to wash them, but only wipe with a damp cloth! I’m throwing them in the machine now on gentle because after a day of winter hiking they are muddy and stinky! How could you not wash kids gloves/ mittens? Hopefully, they come out ok.
