Nice quality
These were great quality. I'd say they are on the big side. I would go with their true size and not size up at all. But overall great quality and my daughter uses them a lot!

Excellent!
I have bought LL Bean snowsuit pants for my kids from the beginning. They are so sturdy and generously sized that each child wears them for 2 years and passes them on to the next child. I have three children. I love that LL Bean updates them to make them better, more durable, and more waterproof.

Poor quality
The snow pants ripped at the seam of the knee after only mild use. I ordered these because of the reinforced knee but it did not hold and now all the middle stuff is coming out. Too expensive for poor quality, I had to get a $15 pair that he's been using the last month and there is no problems.

Not durable
I bought 2 pairs of these to keep at different locations. My son wore the first pair less than 10 minutes and came in because the fabric had ripped at the seam around the knees. I had him change into the other pair and 20 min later the same problem happened around the knees and there were also holes in the shins. My son wasn’t even playing rough or sliding around on the ground. The material is too thin and rips easily. I’ve always had LL Bean snowpants but will be switching as the quality has changed.

Warm but lots of wetness
These pants are warm and durable but my son's knees and legs are soaking wet almost every time he wears them in the snow. We live in central Vermont and he wears snow pants outside for at least half of the year. I am pretty disappointed with how little moisture they keep out. I would not buy again.

Poor Quality
I bought two pairs of these snow pants in 2018: one for my son (7) and one for my daughter (5). Both pairs ripped just below the knee patch after only a few weeks of use. Although LLBean offered good customer service and replaced both pairs, the replacements failed soon after in the same exact way. Rather than attempting to return them again I've resorted to sewing them by hand pretty much monthly as new tears occur. I'd rather not waste the resources involved in shipping them back and forth... I bought them in the first place hoping I was investing in products that could be passed down to my other children in order to reduce landfill waste.

Not Waterproof, Not the Gear for Us
My 8 year old daughter loves to play hard in the snow and cold, and I’m disappointed to learn that wetness is soaking through the knees of these bibs. Even during her relatively short school recess play. The item is described as “water resistant” and that’s accurate. We spend a lot of time outside year-round and protecting my kiddos against winter wetness is very important. I won’t be purchasing these again.

Always excellent.
I've been ordering these every winter since my sons were toddlers, and as teenagers they still work perfectly. The bib style keeps them warm and dry in very cold conditions. My sons wear them skiing, and they provide total flexibility and warmth.

Shoddy Construction
My daughter asked me to buy snow gear for her 4 and 8-year-old for Christmas this year as they had just moved from Asheville to Portland, ME. After just a few weeks of use, both sets started to fall apart. They took them to the outlet and were told that this was "normal wear and tear". I beg to differ. I come from a farm family of 8 and we handed down snow pants from child to child. They lasted for years and we were an extremely active group. Both my Grandchildren in Portland are quite lean, so this is not a case of improper fit. Shame on you LLBean for not standing behind your product (or building a decent product to begin with!). Won't be buying from you again unless you rectify this situation!

Winter staple in our family
I have bought about 5 of these pants over the last 8 years. Very durable. They run big, therefore get 1-2 winters per kid out of them. Have passed the outgrown pants along to nieces and nephews and none have holes or tears. I prefer the bib version for extra warmth and ability to adjust length on shoulder straps as the kids grow. We wear them ice fishing, skating, sledding and playing and the kids stay warm and dry.

Happy child
Little one usually gets hand me downs. Was delighted when pkg came for her. Very well made. Slightly big but that was a good thing. Only buy LL Bean snow clothing as they hold up so well and last longer than they can outgrow them. Thanks for this great product.

Terrible quality
My 6 year old has gone though 2 pair of these ski pants in 1 month. I’m Canadian and didn’t mind paying a little extra on exchange to get good quality ski pants...they are hard to find. Within 2 days of putting on each pair he has come home with tears in them. The thin material that most of the ski pants are made of, tears incredibly easy. The reinforced knees and butt are amazing and the material is very thick- LL BEAN- you’re ski pants should be made out of this material ALLLLLL OVER!! I typically rave about your products but not these ones. After having 2 replacements, I opted for the other, more expensive ski pants. We will see how this pair fairs. Very dissatisfied in the quality.

5 year old grandson is short but long in the torso. Bibs are hard to fit but the style preferred by his Mom. These seemed huge on him but we kept them, I mean snow pants need to be no fun to wear to be good in the snow. No snow since we got them.

Cozy snow bib
Our grandson lives in Austin, Texas. He has no need for ski bibs, but we bought these for his visit. It kept him warm and dry while playing in our snow. The bibs are a good fit; he was able to roll around and sled in the snow without any constraint.

Wet knees
My 6 year old daughter's pants get soaked in these after playing in the snow. They keep her dry everywhere except where those reinforced knees are. We have been buying LLBean snow pants for her since she was tiny. She has probably had 3 or 4 pairs of the Toddler Cold Buster Snow Bibs and I have never had this problem with any of them! Its so disappointing! These pants just aren't functional. Both my kids were out yesterday for the same amount of time in the same snow conditions and the toddler came in dry and the 6 year old came in soaked.

Good length; way too wide
These were purchased for my 11 year old daughter and the length was perfect. The problem is you could practically fit two of her in the width. They are way too wide for an average child.

Snow pants
I am very pleased with my purchase i bought my boys 5 and 7 these last year and was pleased to see they went outside dry and came back inside dry... my kids stayed warm while waiting for the bus in negative weather and when they played outside... i will continue to buy these snow pants
