Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 93% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). I washed them like i was told to do. Fit just fine then, but after i wore them for a few hours, the pants stretched out and are much too large for me to wear. Because of that, I do not recomend this particulat item. I
ve worn LL bean products since 1979.never disappointed! I will ask if they can be returned. i purchsed them about two weeks ago. (Late November 2024

Perfect high-rise jean for me.
I'm a bit long waisted and rise in these jeans are perfect for me. And the denim is a quality denim. Not thin and really stretchy and not thick and heavy. Just the right weight denim and stretch.

Great fitting jeans.
I certainly do love these jeans. They keep their shape, just like they said they would. I purchased the faded black jeans, make sure you wash them before wearing. Love them. I also purchased the light blue jeans, not a fan of the color though...looks different than the picture.

I live in these.
These jeans never fail me. I have several pair and they always fit me well, wear well and launder well. I’m a size 8 med/tall. 5’7” 155lbs. I’ve worn various similar cuts of jeans from LL Bean, lined and unlined, through the years and can’t recall ever having to send any back because of size differences. Always a solid size 8. These are comfortable, soft and durable. And they are flattering. Love them.

MAKE THIS STYLE IN TALL PLEASE!
I wish you made this style in Tall sizes - don't understand why you don't. The Straight Leg style (which does come in Tall) is too wide for me from the knees down.

Comfortable, good fit, wish they had organic!
Good fit, comfortable. I wish they shared more about how they get the “true fit” shape memory, so there was transparency if chemicals are involved or if it’s a more natural process. Otherwise it says they’re mainly cotton but the customer doesn’t know if it’s “clean cotton”.

WOW! These jeans are a perfect fit!
These jeans are the first ones in ages that fit me. The length truly is LONG which I love as I have long legs. Other “long” jeans didn’t even come to my ankles. The high waist and slim fit are perfect. I bought two more pairs because they are a perfect fit for me.

Sizing is way off.
I ordered my usual size that I buy from LL Bean and I could not even get these close to being buttoned. They were like two sizes too small at the waist. I wished they fit because I really liked the style. Unfortunately I will be returning. I usually buy a large petite in pants.

Love the jeans, but the fit is erratic!
I have bought these jeans for years and I do love them.
However, I find that the sizing is all over the place. From one pair to the next, regardless of style, color, and/or size, one pair will fit and the next one won’t. Length alone varies in a medium tall from hitting at the ankle to drooping down over the foot. The slim leg is sometimes so tight I have to pull the legs down each time I get up from sitting down. Other times they are just right, still slim but comfortably loose. And the waist…sometimes it’s so tight I can’t even get them zipped, sometimes I can zip them but have to use an extender for the button, and other times they fit perfectly.
I’m guessing this may be a hazard of modern production methods. Not sure. But I do know I use up a lot of time and energy, mine and LLBean’s just trying to get a pair that fits. But when I do I really love them!
