This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Great Quality Flannel, But Just Didn't Fit
The flannel this shirt is made of is actually too thick. The shirt didn't fit right, even though I bought a larger size to accommodate layering. The weight of the fabric caused the shirt not to lie properly. I gave it away without ever wearing it. It also needed pressing before wearing. It was washed several times in an attempt to shrink it a bit, but no luck there.

problem bottom hem
Love these shirts. Only one problem on all the 4 shirts I have, the bottom of every shirt does not lie flat. I have to iron all the time because once you put the shirt on, the bottom hem starts to curl again.

So soft and cozy! I’m so glad you have these in tall sizes for us tall ladies with long arms. Very happy with the thickness and quality. Just the thing for those cool winter mornings. You can dress it up with some gold jewelry and some nice well cut good fitting baggy jeans and white platform sneakers. I will be coming back next year for some more colors which were already sold out in my size.

Runs small
So soft and durable. This will last a long time but I’m a little annoyed at how it runs on the small side. Purchased a large-but should have picked an XL in this shirt. I have a larger chest but usually a large is perfect for me. I would size up with this flannel for sure. Material is heavenly and warm. I will be buying another one but sizing up for a looser and more cozy fit.

A warm shirt, but length is on the short side.
The shirt is warm and well-constructed. The length is shorter than I prefer, and the fabric is pilling with one cold wash and hang to dry. It was worn once. This shirt suits my needs, but I would likely not buy another like it.

Nice flannel shirt
Nice soft flannel shirt. My weight is 119lbs and usually wear a medium but since the shirt is a relaxed fit I purchased it in a regular small and the fit is just right. I have other LL Bean shirts but this is the first flannel one. It has not been washed yet. Probably will not wash in hot water and will dry on low so hopefully will not shrink.

Freeport Natural Flannel Shirt
I bought this shirt, washed it in cold water and line dried it. I wore it one day and noticed a lot of wrinkling and also started pilling, therefore am returning it. The fit was good and liked the plaid. I've never seen this happening to the flannel shirts my husband wears all the time.
