Great for my needs
I needed sunglasses that I can read text sometimes and these met my needs. The magnification area is small but that is what I wanted. If you wanted sunglasses 75% of the time and reader 25% these are great.

Doesn't Work
These are really nice sunglasses, fit well, comfortable, however, the magnification is completely useless. I have to lift and hold the glasses up to see out of the tiny magnifying area at the bottom.

Beautiful polarized view plus a safe reading area
I purchased these glasses to have a polarized pair because what you see is so much more beautiful when the glass is polarized. I already have a pair of bifocal sunglasses that are not polarized. I do not think the reading area of these new glasses is misplaced....it is, however, very small compared to the other pair I already own. After wearing and comparing, I believe I need both pair of glasses. The ones I own with the larger magnification area are good for driving and/or riding and navigating. I can easily, with the larger reading area, look back and forth from streets and signs to the GPS. The new LLBean glasses are best for walking around, sightseeing, hiking, etc. On those occasions, I need to read only occasionally, but need to see where I am walking constantly. The smaller LLBean reading area is much safer, especially when stairs are involved.

Too expensive to come without a case
I bought these sunglasses several years ago, and they came with a case and cleaning cloth. Because they had gotten scratched, I ordered another pair. These fit better because I got a small. However, I was shocked to see these $99 sunglasses arrive in a fabric bag. No case? Really? Unfortunately I'm going to send them back as a result, despite the fact that I haven't found a good replacement. By the way, one of the reviewers said that the bifocal is a stick-on. I don't think that's so. I was also interested to see a 2020 reviewer note with pleasure that the glasses came with a case and cleaning cloth!

Awesome Polarized Bifocal Sunglasses
My second pair, this time after cataract surgery . I always wear polarized sunglasses, and my Ophthamologist concurs. I’ve tried cheaper polarized sunglasses, but vision is not as clear and often distorted. I have a slightly fuller face and these fit without squeezing. I LOVE these, and fully recommend them.

Personal viewpoint of Women's Bifocal Sunglasses
It's rare to find quality bifocal sunglasses, so I appreciate that LL Bean carries these. However, I found them to fit too close to my face, the bifocal part of the glass was very small, and the "bronze" color through the lens really discolored the world. Not my favorite.

I love these glasses and hope they will last a long time. I worry a little that the bifocal part is a stick-on inside the lens, but it works well and is very low giving me maximum general visibility and easy reading. Glasses like this are hard to find—good for LL Bean.

Sunglass arms break easy
Love these glasses, but this is the fourth pair I have purchased in 5 years. The hinge on the arms of the glasses fails easy. When they fail, I reglue them and it doesn't hold up long. LL Bean used to be guaranteed for life, but not anymore. Not sure why I purchase them knowing they will fail. I guess I like the dark tint and they fit well.

Bifocal feature is nice
The bifocal feature in the sunglasses is nice. The glasses themselves are okay, but seem pretty cheaply made for being so pricey. I have an average sized face, and the women's glasses seem too large. They also slide down my nose when I'm outside doing yardwork. It's inconvenient having to constantly push them back up. I'll pick a different style next time.

Really like them! Comfortable and best of all I can read things while gardening! Wish they came in a few more styles. You have to angle your head a bit sometimes, but so nice to not constantly be reaching for reading glasses!
