Love the Colors, Design and Fit!
So far this season I have purchased two of these - one in Washed Orchid Heather, the other in Deep Port Heather (the latter to coordinate with my Sunwashed Twill Shirt in Eggplant color, as shown on the picture on L.L. Bean's website). After having experience some shrinkage of waffle-knit Henleys in past years, I chose to go with Regular rather than Petite and also to use air-only setting in the dryer for a few mins and then hang to dry. One feature that I really love about these shirts is the flexibility to button all of the buttons or leave some undone!

Good-looking, comfortable waffle knit Henley
I have several of these waffle knit Henleys, today I was wearing a greenish one and somebody in a store stopped me and commended what a nice color and shirt it was . I told her where to buy these, because they are so comfortable, light weight, durable and and for our fall and winter weather just right. I wear a fleece "Bean" vest over it on cold days in mid winter. I have really enjoyed these shirts, and like to wear a polo shirt under it, to layer and it looks good together. In fact after a hot summer I was looking forward to start wearing my favorite Henleys again. They are very flattering and good looking.
I wear a medium petite, weigh 120lbs, they are roomy to wear, but not too big, they don't shrink, wash well and I hang them to dry. It is my Bean's best buy and fun to wear shirt. I am a mid-ninety senior.

Shrinks too much
Very soft and comfy, but it shrank so much after just one wash with cold water and air drying that it now seems to be a mid-rift baring top! This is not the first time this has happened with L.L. Bean clothes unfortunately.

A bit small and itchy
I like the thickness of the fabric, but it is either a bit too small for me or the fabric irritates my sensitive skin. I,am not as happy with it, but a larger size might have worked better for me with this particular garment.

Waffle-Knit Henleys
I have two of these shirts, in the grey heather and paperwhite. I believe the fabric is somewhat different from the two. The white is a little snugger and longer in the body than the grey. I love them both because they're so comfortable and a little warmer than my long-sleeved t-shirts. I like that they are close to being tunic length for me (I am 5'1" and purchased a Regular Medium) and look good with leggings (and the sleeves are nicely long enough). I hope they keep carrying this item because I will probably wear them out in time and want to replace them. Just a suggestion: if you like how they fit, wash in cold water and hang dry. Don't risk shrinkage by putting them in the dryer.

Just received today. Very soft, comfy fabric. Glad I ordered extra large instead of medium size since I don’t like tight fit. Sleeves a little long, but roll up cuffs and looks great. LOVE the color….glad I ordered 2. Little pricey but better quality then.

I purchased 2 of these shirts before and the size was perfect. This time the shirt is gigantic much too large. It is 3 1/2 inches longer than original purchase before. It did not say it was a tunic. Did you change vendors? I will be returnng.

I purchased the burnt brown color in a M and love the fit. I am typically a size S or M and because it’s waffle knit, I ordered the M so it wouldn’t be too form fitting. This color goes great with jeans.

Poor quality
Bought 2 of these shirts. One was white and the other was periwinkle. I washed the white one, following care instructions and it shrunk. I wore the periwinkle one and it became discolored around the neckline

Soft to the touch
I recently purchased this henly in the dusty purple color. I love the color and softness of the material. I sized up a size as reviews said the material shrinks when washed and sizing said it was fitted. I washed on cold and tumble dried it long enough to drop the wrinkles. The top did shrink in length an inch and a half but arms and around did not shrink. It would be nice if Bean made this shirt a bit longer to allow for shrinkage. I would order this again but will order my regular size instead of sizing up. I gave the top 4 stars due to the shrinkage.

Looks more like a pajama top than anything I would wear by itself outside of the house. I would recommend it if you need a new pajama top. . Both the body of the shirt and the sleeves are very long.

Not the same as years past.
I recently purchased four new colors. The price has increased by five dollars, the material is thinner and not as soft or warm on the inside and at least a few inches shorter in length. I am returning all as I do not feel they are worth the price. Definitely not the same quality as years past. Very disappointed.

Too small
I bought a small regular in gray. I tried it on and it is small and short. I've had waffle-knit Henleys before and have loved them. I am afraid this one will be even smaller once it's washed. I am 100 lbs and 5'1".
