A lot to love about the flannel dress
I love the color & fabric of this dress. And it has pockets! However, as other reviewers have mentioned it runs large--very large. I'm 5'6" & 130 lbs, usually wear a medium & sometimes small. The small is too big for me! The only other thing I would change is to have a straight hem rather than shirt-tail.

Yes! More colours please!
I took a risk, especially ordering from the US, as a return would have been complicated. The uniqueness of the dress overcame my hesitancy, and I was not disappointed. I ended up ordering a medium after the large proved too big, but kept the first dress due to the difficulty of a cross-border return.
Most shirt dresses fall above the knee, which to me makes no sense when they are winter-weight flannel. At 5' 8 1/2", this dress is elegantly long on me, and I could get away with wearing knee socks with it. The slate plaid is subtle and dressy. Could be worn with chunky boots or dress shoes. But yes, I thoroughly agree with other reviewers that there should be more colours and different fabrics of the same style in the future. Wouldn't a wool-blend shirt fabric be great?!
I hope this New England company appreciates my business from Canada. It is a tough choice these days...but at least maybe we still have practicality and an appreciation of great outdoor style in common...

I bought a size up and use it as a robe.
Wonderful flannel, super comfortable, I bought a larger size and use it as a robe over light pajamas. It is also something nice to slip into after the bath. Could even be used as a night shirt, without the belt.

Favorite Fall & Winter Dress
I love this dress! Great colors, I got the black slate. Very soft and well made. I styled mine with Frye Boots, a concho belt and vintage silver jewelry. Great look for work or anywhere. It does run a little large, which is fine by me.
