There are very nice synthetic….
……vests out there (I own some). But I must say, unless allergic to wool, they can’t compare to this one. No attention to detail left out and a coziness unsurpassed. It’s like comparing gas heat to a wood burning stove. Just a feel unlike any other.

Great looking vest
I have purchased two of these. I bought this color in XS and wish I would have gotten a small, but it still fits fine and looks great - just a little snug. The second one I bought is a regular S - and I like the fit much better. (I'm a pretty small guy.) But these vests themselves are great looking and very well constructed.

Versatile vest
From the classic look and feel that makes this vest as appropriate for wearing with a shirt and tie at the office as it is for hiking on a winter day, to the fleece lined pockets, I love this vest. It is versatile, warm, comfortable and looks great.
My one question so far is to durability. There are already a lot of sweater fuzzies with a little over a month of use, so I wonder whether it start looking worn out. Only time will tell. I wear it at least weekly, so time will tell whether it's made to last. So far so good.
I have gotten a lot of compliments on the vest, and will likely by other colors.

This vest is quite warm and comfortable. But the pockets are too small and the fit in the armpits isn't great. I liked the green and brown colors, but they didn't look good on me.

Very Handsome, Well Made Vest
The vest is really well made and handsome! We have had many vests for my husband over the years, never the quality, so our son is benefitting from my former experience. Would be a five star, but I was quite sure I ordered the -- Cider color, altho I did not want to reorder. My own vest from 22 years ago is still looking really great too.

Great vest for cool to cold weather
I really like this vest. It has become my go-to piece for layering on brisk days. It has a substantial, high quality look and feel. The knit is tight and warm, the zipper is sturdy. The pockets are conveniently placed to stow a pair of sunglasses or to keep your hands warm with their soft lining. The piping along the zipper and colar lining are a nice finishing touch.

I'd buy again
Worn about a month. So far, weave, zipper, seams are all good and no pilling, L is good fit (I'm 6' and 180 lb), I've had no issue w/ collar at neck line and sweater is neither too loose, too long or too itchy. Good alone in a cool room or cool weather w/ slight breeze but, I usually wear it under coat or jacket outside. Its what I was looking for as an alternate to a thin down vest.
