Waterfowl sweater vest
For the price I expected vest to be lined. It wasn't. Pockets are too small and need zippered closures. Warm enough when worn with wicked good flannel shirt to not need a coat at 40 to 50 degrees. A better value is the sweater fleece vest at about $30 less.

Waterfowl best
The waterfowl vest is well made. Warm wool material with micro fleece pocket liner. Cut long enough for full coverage. I’ve been wearing it often and received quite a few compliments. Works equally well as a stand alone piece in cool weather or a layer in colder temperatures.

This is one fine vest.
This is my second such vest. The first one has ruggedly lasted decades. Warm and dependable. It is still in service and I expect it will last my lifetime. This vest fits my grandson, who is my new outing partner. Though he is built like a moose, the vest fits perfectly. Another vest for a lifetime has started.

There are very nice synthetic….
……vests out there (I own some). But I must say, unless allergic to wool, they can’t compare to this one. No attention to detail left out and a coziness unsurpassed. It’s like comparing gas heat to a wood burning stove. Just a feel unlike any other.
