Perfect rain gear!
With the right gear, kids can be happy playing outside for hours. We LOVE this rain jacket! The yellow is nice and bright and there is a reflective patch on the back. I have a big 16 month old and the 2T fits with some room to grow (we are rolling the sleeves). I feel this fits TTS. He can fit a bulky sweater underneath easily. I think the 3T would have been so huge. I don't know if this will fit next spring but here's hoping! If not we'll be back to buy another.

Love, love rain jacket
Love, love this jacket. The inside lining is breathable and soft. We bought the 3T for our 2 year grandson, and it fit a little large, as wanted. He spent a morning in the forest running around and was comfy, dry and happy.

EXTEND SIZES, PLEASE!!
I have been buying this Discovery Rain Jacket since our Littlest was 12-18 months! We were ALWAYS able to hand down these jackets from older Brother to younger Brother, AND pass them on to friends afterwards! They hold up SO WELL. These jackets are also comfortable for the Boys, fit well (roomy and not stiff like many rain coats), and keep them dry!
Our Boys are now 3 and 5 and I am so disappointed that I can not purchase this for my 5 year old. We always get the pants, too, and the pair are awesome for puddle jumping and just a dry situation!! The other styles are just not the same so L.L. PLEASE extend these sizes!!

This is the 2nd Yellow Rain slicker I've purchased. The toddler size came first & the infant was backordered. The toddler has worn his repeatedly. It's cute and does what it's supposed to do. And he likes it which makes a huge difference when dressing a toddler. This is not lined, which I thought was a plus so it could be worn in spring/summer. It's roomy enough to fit a layer underneath.

The color yellow is so pretty
I have purchased two of these rain jackets for two year old granddaughters. The colors I chose were yellow and coral—both very bright for a rainy day.
There is a tab on the zipper—ione granddaughter used the tap right away to unzipped it.
Just noticed the “Handed Down To”
Obviously LL Bean has faith in this product that more than one child will be wearing this.
The granddaughter who received the coral jacket did not want to take it off!

Good construction but hood too small
I was very pleased with the overall fit and construction of this rain jacket. However, the hood had no face coverage at all for my average-sized 19-month-old son. If he were to wear it out in the rain, his face would have been soaked. Returned it but kept the rain pants.

I bought this in yellow for my toddler son. It fits him well and he can pull up the zipper on his own, which is a big deal to him. It works well for the climate we have in Southern California - I try to put it on him as often as possible when we're out because he's so easy to see in that bright yellow.
We haven't used it much in the rain, but the hood is great - when it's up, it stays up. Which is no small feat when the wearer is running around.

Great for outdoors
We need real waterproof attire for our outdoorsy family- everything in regular stores aren’t actually technical enough so this is perfect for our 1 yr old Bright colors always as we r out during hunting season usually as well- there is also vents and the mesh material inside is easy to pull over sweatshirts without making sleeves rode up. The yellow is too cute. This will still fit him through the spring for sure.

Great jacket, hood seems to run small
We love this jacket (and the LL bean rain boots) for my toddler daughter. The jacket is comfy and high quality. The only drawback is that both of my kids have large heads and the hood on this has never quite fit correctly. The rest of the jacket fits perfectly but the hood is just too small - it pulls the fabric up awkwardly at the back of the jacket and looks ‘tight’. We now just wear the jacket and use an umbrella, but if your kids have 99%ile heads, maybe order a size up :)
