Durable and handy!
Just bought this as a gift along with a box of fatwood. Absolutely perfect gift from my clients who are so happy to have a wood-burning fireplace in their new home. Careful... it melts!!
It's a great product. Carries a lot of wood, is rugged, has nice sides that keep dirt and debris off the floor... but here's the thing: Keep it too close to your woodstove and it melts. In fact, the handle of ours melted onto the outside of the cast-iron woodstove, causing a helluva stinky mess. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Should we have kept it further away from the stove? Sure. But should LL Bean — provider of rugged Maine-esque goods — make fireplace products that are less flammable and melty? Absolutely.
Fun times, though, I repaired it with some paracord and strapping we had lying around. Pix attached.

Pay attention to length
I am using this to replace a Bean's log carrier I have been using for over 30 years. The old one still does the job, but it is getting pretty faded, and relegated to the downstairs fireplace.
The design is slightly updated, with a vinyl lining that makes it easier to shake out wood debris. Not sure what my expectation is for the durability of the lining.
This carrier fits the max 24 inch long wood I use in our fireplace. Would not be a great fit if your firewood pieces are much longer.
