We've put our Unshrinkable Carefree Tees to the test, in the lab and in the field. And we're glad to say our unshrinkable t-shirts passed with flying colors. What's more, the 100% cotton fabric resists wrinkles, fading, pilling and shrinking, so our tee keeps its true-to-size fit while maintaining its comfort and softness. Great shirts.
We like the 100% natural fiber content. The fabric weight is nice. Two suggestions: Make the neck opening a little larger for men who don’t have skinny necks; and use cotton fabric that can be washed on warm at a minimum. Washing T shirts on cold is unrealistic.

The collar quickly stretches out and loses shape
Unlike the rest of the shirt, the collar ribbing is very low quality and doesn't hold up well at all. It quickly loses its shape and becomes unwearable in public. I keep replacing them but at this point it's time to find another brand.

Pine Green Men's T-Shirt
Pine Green is a beautiful color. Long enough that when you tuck it in, it stays tucked. Fabric (100% cotton in the body of the shirt) is thick enough that you feel you are getting a good-quality t-shirt, yet very soft.

Sizing Issue
I bought my husband a large t shirt and thought it looked baggy when he was wearing it. I compared the new large to a prior year’s XL and guess what? The large is 2 inches longer and equally as wide. What a waste. Quality has become an issue that will make me think twice before ordering again.

Worst Tee Skirt Ever
This tee shirt is the worst tee I have ever bought. The sleeves are giagantic in both width and length. You could easily fit one of my legs in it. And LL Bean claims this tee would not shrink??? I measured the length pre wash and then post wash in warm water. Shirt shrank 1.5 inch in length. So much for their claim of being unshrinkable.

Men's Carefree Unshrinkable Tee
I have been buying this style of LL Bean T -shirt, short and long sleeve version, for years. I no longer buy any other brand, no matter what the label, because these are the only ones with a consistent fit, and which do not shrink.

Waaaaaaay bigger than it should be.
I bought a Large-Tall. I think it would be the right size for someone who is 6'8" and weighs 350#. I guess a standard Medium is the right size if you are 6'4" 220# ??!?!

The best all around shirt,is here.
These T-shirts are my favorite "go to" shirts. I wear them with shorts or long pants. And with all the different colors it's so easy to mix or match. It's so comfortable too. They do shrink a little when dryed in a dryer this only helps them fit better.

Lower Quality
I have one of these unshrinkable tee's from Sri Lanka. It's super comfortable and feels very high quality. I got excited and ordered 5 more directly from L.L. Bean. However, when I tried them on, the fit was entirely different and the fabric quality as MUCH lower than my original t-shirt. I'm returning all of them.

Used To Be Great
I’ve been buying LL Bean t-shirts for over 20 years and over that time they’ve gotten worse and worse. They give the shirts some kind of treatment, I’m guessing to prevent shrinkage, but it means they don’t wick sweat away. Sweating in these shirts leaves a film of moisture between the shirt and your skin. The only option is to change. So, over two decades the shirts have dropped in quality as their price has risen.
