Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BEST TEE !!!!!! These are absolutely the BEST long- sleeved crew neck tees I have ever found. I have these tops in almost every color and wear them almost every day. The pima cotton is polished and very finely woven, so they are soft but they also have a little weight and are not too thin or see-through like other tees. Also the neck, bottom, and sleeves are finished with fine double stitching and barely noticeable hems. The fit is straight cut without looking boxy. I am a top-heavy/busty XL and this tee always looks nice and slimming on me without being too long or too clingy. I can wear it around with jeans or shorts, or wear with jewelry/scarf and nice pants to a cocktail party. I often wear my older ones as sleep tops. I have been buying this pparticular cotton tee for years and I hope LL Bean will always carry it. It holds up through literally hundreds of washings - never any pilling and colors may eventually soften the tiniest bit but stay true.

After only one washing in cold water and drying in a low heat dryer they had shrunk with both the body and arms much shorter. I can still wear them but I don’t like the fit at all . I will never buy this shirt again.

It’s also long enough for good coverage — I don’t feel like they forgot to make the bottom half of the shirt!

I love the feel and quality of the shirt BUT it bled when I was using cold water to wash out a stain which I had made on the front of the shirt (dripped some ice cream). I have continued to try to get the bleeding out but so far it's not happening. Do I have to wash this shirt by hand? Now I am concerned that the other shirts I have purchased and not yet worn. This has never happened before with any items I have bought from llbean over many years.

Unfortunately, the overall length was much shorter after washing, cold water. I will still wear it around the house, but not to go out as I am not comfortable having my belly show if I reach up for anything.

I want to call the pink a "true" color because there is nothing shy about it. I'm excited to try the other two colors that I got in the same order.

However, I have found that these shrink almost immediately, even on cold/gentle wash and dry. I do hang up my shirts and refresh them on low in the dryer, but they still shrink up. I had this some problem a couple of years ago, as well with these (same) cotton tops. I’ve been a customer for a number of years and have found the quality isn’t always there as it used to be. Overall, I’m (just) satisfied!
