"A lifestyle choice that I still aspire to"
I purchased one of these hammocks when my boys (now 12 & 15) were quite small and had it shipped to Ireland.It survived their growing up( and these are all action kids so it would not have been gently treated) and many Irish summers which can be quite damp.However the dream I had of swaying gently in the gentle breeze sipping something cool, reading quietly rarely happens...yet.Flying footballs,a dog who likes to occupy it and the joys of life with boys does not leave much time for hammock resting.However it occupies pride of place in my garden and I smile when I look out my kitchen window and it falls within my line of vision.In terms of durability,this product has been superb but we left it outside last winter and due to our neglect,the mildew resistance has been breached.I will happily reorder when funds allow and consider it excellent value. By the way kids readily by pass swingset and playhouse to swing on hammock.I hope I'll still be able to climb into it when they do vacate it.

sunbrella hammock
We are really enjoying our new hammock. It is comfortable and soft. The four in our family ages 16-53 have each read, napped and been carried off to a different place on it. I cannot believe it has taken so long to purchase one. We have ours on hooks between two trees.

Doesn't last
Made it only two seasons before the wood cracked. Looking for something better that will last in the elements.

When An Ordinary Swing Just Won't Do!
My wife bought the hammock for me as a surprise. She had the pillow monogrammed with her nickname for me, which is Pooch. Now, she says I have a reason to sleep on the lanai, but I also have to explain my nickname to our friends. It appears relaxation comes with a price. The hammock is excellent!

QUILTED HAMMOCK
Purchased this hammock last summer for our home on the shore in Ct. primarily for the color, size, and the fact that it was made of Sunbrella fabric. Have not been disapointed at all and in fact I'm purchasing a second one for another location. Much more comfortable than the rope type hammocks also available.
